A SnoreLab Alternative for iPhone

These two apps are not competing for the same job. SnoreLab exists to study snoring. Schlummer is a sleep tracker that happens to keep the loud parts. Which one you want depends on the question you are actually asking.

Pick by the question you are asking

"Is the mouth strip actually working?"

That is a study, and it needs a remedy log and months of comparable scores. SnoreLab is built for it. Schlummer will show you loud seconds per night and nothing structured around what you changed.

"Do I even snore, and how bad is it?"

Either app answers this on the first night. Schlummer does it in the free version and hands you clips with a peak in decibels, which is usually enough to settle an argument.

"Why do I wake up feeling terrible?"

Snoring is only one candidate. A sleep curve, the length of the night and a gentler alarm are part of the picture too, and that is the case where a tracker beats a specialist.

"I do not want my recordings uploaded anywhere."

Then the deciding fact is where the audio is stored, not which app has better analysis. Schlummer has no account and no server.

Neither app is a medical device. Snoring is common and usually harmless, but loud nightly snoring, gasping, pauses in breathing or daytime exhaustion are worth a doctor's opinion, and no phone can give you that. Recordings are useful to bring to the appointment.

Hear your snoring and see the rest of the night in one app.
