Privacy Policy
Schlummer is designed to be private by default. Your sleep data never leaves your iPhone.
Last updated: 10 October 2026
What we collect
Schlummer has no account system and does not upload sleep data to a server. Your nights, your sleep scores and your audio recordings are stored in the app on your iPhone, and Schlummer never uploads them anywhere. Delete the app and they are gone with it. The free version does show advertising, which is described below.
Recommendations for our other apps
Under More, the app can fetch up to three recommendations for our other apps. The choices depend on the app you are using, App Store availability and iOS compatibility, not on your personal data or activity inside the app. App icons load from Apple’s image servers. Opening a recommendation takes you to the App Store with a campaign label identifying the source app and placement, never a person.
We count qualified views and successful opens in aggregate. Our service stores daily counts with the source app, recommended app, placement, configuration revision and optional presentation variant. It does not store an account, advertising identifier, device identifier, persistent visitor identifier or personal profile, and it does not receive the app’s private content. These counts cannot tell us who installed an app.
The recommendation service is hosted by Supabase. Network requests necessarily expose an IP address to the hosting provider for delivery and security; our aggregate counter does not store it. See Supabase’s privacy policy. Apple processes icon requests and App Store visits under Apple’s privacy policy.
Microphone
To estimate your sleep stages and record snoring or sleep talking, Schlummer analyzes microphone audio locally on your iPhone. Audio and recordings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded. You can play, tag, delete or share recordings; sharing only happens when you explicitly choose to.
Advertising
The free version of Schlummer is funded by advertising delivered by Google AdMob: a banner and, occasionally, a full screen ad. Before any ad is requested you are shown a consent form, and iOS additionally asks you whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites. Google receives the data it needs in order to serve those ads, as described in Google's own privacy documentation.
Your sleep data, your sleep scores and your audio recordings are never part of that. They are not shared with Google and not with anyone else. Buying Schlummer Pro removes the advertising completely, and where the option is offered in your region you can revisit your ad privacy choices at any time under More.
Health data
If you allow it, Schlummer writes your sleep analysis to Apple Health on your device. We do not read your Health data and we do not transmit it off the device.
Purchases
Optional Schlummer Pro purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.
Children
Schlummer is a wellness product, not a medical device, and is not directed at children under 13.
